Edna Brewer Artists Install Crucible Art Project

Edna Brewer students recently completed a wonderful after school program with The Crucible, a non-profit educational collaboration of art, industry and community ( www.thecrucible.org ). This collaboration with The Crucible and Brewer students created a beautiful steel sculpture garden filled with a total of 30 flowers, which has been installed outside Ms. Keys' classroom, greatly enhancing the beauty of the school. As part of the project, these student artists were introduced to torch cutting, blacksmithing and welding from art professionals at the Crucible in West Oakland.
