The second semester has begun! We are wrapping up our novel unit - The Skin I'm In, by Sharon G. Flake - with a Response to Lit Essay.
Upcoming is Informational Materials with a student activism focus. Be thinking about what you are passionate about...is it education for all, animal rights, freedom of speech?
The last unit before the CST will be poetry - get ready for some civilized reading as well as slams!
